I have been a professional educator in Wake county for over 15 years. I have served as a lead teacher in the areas of science, reading, academically gifted and health/wellness. During Covid I opted to go a different direction professionally but realized I greatly miss the youthful energy of children and the aspect of helping them develop intellectually as well as socially. After many conversations, I realized the need for a high quality option for parents during track out periods. I hold both a bachelors degree (SUNY Plattsburgh) and masters degree (University of Akron) in the field of education. Furthermore, I have done extensive coursework in the area of Integrative Wellness (Duke School of Integrative Medicine). I am a very active person who enjoys hiking, biking and anything nature.
